Day 32 (4th April) Shopping!

Today is Sun and we finally got the chance to sleep longer! Jean and I went to approach the auntie who was in charge of our dormitory AGAIN as the light bulb in our toilet had fused. The auntie was on leave and the lady there gave us 2 options: either we get the light bulb and fix it ourselves or we approach the service centre in the campus. We chose the latter and they came to fix it shortly. However, repair man claimed that he had brought the wrong light bulb and will return with the right one immediately. Therefore, our roommate Meow lin waited for him in the hostel but to no avail. He did not return and made meow Lin waited for almost 1 hour!

The few of us went to jiang han lu to shop in the noon. We reached at about 4 plus and we had our dinner the moment we reach so we can have more time to shop at night. As usual, we went to the bu xing jie to shop. Surprisingly, I did not buy a lot of things today! it is considered as an achievement for me as I never fail to leave the place without spending a bomb. We decided to take a cab back as it was already 9 plus. we had a hard time flagging a cab. at first, there was a bread car offering 50rmb but we find it not worth it. therefore, we gave it up. Then, there was an illegal cab offering 35rmb only so we hop onto the cab immediately!

Reflection:
I find the electrician very irresponsible. Even though he do not have a suitable light bulb, he should have came back and told Meow lin that he do not have 1 and not just running away and kept people waiting for his return. Moreover, it only takes 5 minutes to travel from the repair centre to our hostel. We should have depended on ourselves and get the light bulb fix with our own might!
