We are to report at 8.30am for the industrial visit to coca cola factory. We have been drinking coca cola all the while but have you wondered how it is produced? The trip to the coca cola factory will reveal the answer! Bus ride was relatively long and slept in the bus. Firstly, we were shown a video about the history and time line of coca cola. After that, there was a Q&A session. Coca cola was first founded in 1886. It was first sold in pharmacy at first at only 5 cents. As years pass by, coca cola became more popular and now, it was sold all over the world. The stars that endorse coca cola include Fahrenheit, S.H.E, Jay Chou, etc. After that, they brought us to see the machineries that they use for production. However, we didn’t have a chance to see the whole production as they closed down the factory for cleaning up.
They have many kinds of packaging for coca cola. Some of which are glass bottle, plastic bottle, and can drink. For glass bottle, the capital is relatively high. So, they collect the bottles to reuse it. The bottles have to go through rounds of examination and testing. It is examined under strong light so that even the slightest defect can be seen. As the strong light strains the eye a lot, the workers will be changed every 10 minutes.

Then, we were brought to the gallery room. There were hundreds of coca cola with different packaging in it! They even packaged it using 12 zodiac, gaming characters to attract youngsters. Also, there are different kinds of packaging for different countries.

At the main hall, there was a refrigerator full of coca cola! Therefore, we helped ourselves with it and we got ourselves a free dink! 
After we returned to school, I met up with my team mates to do our project. Later in the evening, Jean, Teeli, Amanda, yanting and me went to a new place called 老鼠街 to shop. However, we only managed to shop at the street opposite老鼠街 due to time constraint.
Reflection:
Coca cola is indeed a successful company. Not only do they manufacture coca cola, they manufacture other drinks such as 芬达, 雪碧, and many more! It is amazing how coca cola transformed from a beverage where there were only a few bottles sold per day in the past to a beverage which everyone is drinking now. The process of how coca cola is being manufactured is totally awesome! It was such a pity that we could not witness the process. Coca cola was also the sponsor for Beijing Olympics too!
