From the start to the end of the factory, it is 1.5km.All of the machines are made by themselves. The temperature in the furnace is extremely high and we can even feel the heat from a distance. The whole process for the steel making starting from the furnace, rolled, and storing takes only one minute. The roller will flatten the steel and make it thinner for maximum 7 times. The rollers will be changed every 24 hours and 4 hours for the two machines. Lastly, it will be rolled up in big rolls and waiting to be inspected. Unwanted steel are sold to suppliers to earn more. Not much pictures was taken as they forbid us to do so.

After that, we returned to school for IS lesson at 2pm. The lecturer is from WUST, Ms hong. We were taught about the history and politics of china. Till now then i know the shape of china on the map is a hen! China has 4 metropolitan cities, 5 autonomous areas where the national minorities (55) are in a majority in their respective area, 2 special zones, 23 normal provinces whose population is primarily of Han – 95% of the Chinese population. That is really a lot compared to Singapore, which is just a tiny little dot on the map!
At night, we went to have dinner at 户部巷. Wu di brought us to 长江as it was very near. The scenery at night is very nice. Saw a 孔明灯 too!
Pictures taken at 户部巷 and 长江.
Reflection:
China’s steel factory is very strong. In the steel making, they use their own machines to complete the whole process of steel making. They have their own resources while we no natural resources at all. Even though most of the places are quite run down, in some places they are not as inadvanced as we think The bridge is very special and interesting as It consists of 2 tracks which can be used for train and vehicles. Singapore does not have this yet.
