Day 8

Today we only had lesson from 9-12 as Ms neo cancelled the afternoon class due to more and more number of people getting sick. Went to 建设一路for lunch and we saw Ms neo in the fast food restaurant. The fast food here should adopt a different system. They do not allow customers change their drinks even if you offer to pay more. After that, we spent the whole afternoon walking from建设一路 up till 建设八路. There are only shops from 建设一路and 建设二路and from 建设七路onwards. On the way, we saw an animal farm selling dogs, fish, turtles, etc. At night, we went to visit the hostel of the local students. As you can see, their hostel is about the parameter as ours but there are 6 students in a room. Also, they have no toilets and heater and it is very cold in the night.

It's nice eating the hot sweet potato in this cold weather.

The balloons are cute and cheap! Therefore we bought one each.

Even though the place is considered small for six person to live in, they organize their things quite well and is not messy. I actually thought it is girl's hostel as the room is filled with pink bedsheets and wallpaper.

Reflection:
We have to maintain our health because if more and more people are sick, lesson will be delayed and we can’t complete what we have to learn. Although the whole journey is very long, i did enjoy myself and the nice scenery along the way. I think china should be more flexible with their fast food system. They should allow customers to change their beverage so they can gain more customers as well as satisfy the customer. Lastly, I am pleased that at least we have a proper hostel with everything available although sometimes the heater is not working and the hot water will run out all of a sudden when we are bathing halfway. At least we do not have to pay to use the public toilet. Therefore, we should be thankful for all these and not complain anymore.
